As a board member of the Cheadle Town Improvement Plan, our founder, Sharon Seville was there to open the new Cheadle Walking & Cycling route on 1st July 2023, with the chair of the Board, Brian Bradley.

Sharon has been on the board from the early stages when Cheadle was selected for the levelling up fund and secured £13.9 million from central government to improve the town and help with both regeneration and economic prosperity.

Sharon stated

“Stockport is such a great place to be, work and live. It’s constantly evolving and getting better and better”

She went on to say,

“The council and local business sector work incredibly well together. There is a mutual respect, and a level of support and collaboration that I’m sure must be the envy of many councils.  It’s all part of what makes Stockport such a vibrant place, and there are more great plans to bring about positive change on the horizon.
